I feel sorry its come to this, I remember John when I was a First year at Wits and he was on the RAG committee, he was full of energy and a go-getter, nothing got him down. I later got to know him at Wits rugby and he inspired me to know nothing is unachievable. RIP one of the true grafters, whatever the circumstances of his death he was a fantastic role model and an inspiration to many even though he may never know they feel that way.
