Hmm, Nkosi sikelela iAfrika indeed. That much I can agree with. But visible, loud, fake "patriotism" which won't last long? That I can do without. "Patriotism" that comes from bling, which comes from buying (yes, buying - at a huge price) bling and entertainment from Septic Bladder? "Patriotism" which allows us to deliver hugely expensive short-term stuff which would be WAY down on any decent list of "What does SA really need?"?? I don't think so. My patriotism is unchanging, daily, real, includes paying tax, helping the poor and neglected, and is largely invisible. Carefully refraining from criticising FIFA = Patriotism? I don't think so.
