It sounds as though those cops in Cape Town are in for a bonanza in 2010. It would be great to see the bent coppers incarcerated with their erstwhile victims at Pollsmoor. Unfortunately it's unlikely that Auntie will ever let them get caught or allow the wheels of justice to turn against them. One wonders just how high up the payments from these syndicates go. We know that the previous commissioner was up to his neck in shady dealings with criminal syndicates, so we can hardly be surprised to hear that lower ranking cops are doing the same. The rot is deep and it's going to take a hell of a lot of police time and effort to break these syndicates. The Scorpions might have had some success at this sort of thing, but then bent coppers and politicians sorted them out. What a country!
