Where can one register as an interested and affected person? I tried the minerals & energy address on.gov.za - no response.

This process is incredibly flawed, when (small people) the residents and workers of the region have to take up the case themselves to defend against corporate raiders, the likes of whom are involved here. If your article is truthful, then the stand taken by ANCYL leader, and his subsequent sacking for taking a stand against his leaders is also highlighted and the mining company seems to have the backing of ANC bigwigs. It makes me wonder how far these criminals will actually go to line their pockets. Surely, the rest of the country can't just stand by and let these poor, rural people, who want their heritage kept intact fight alone. Noseweek, morally owes it to the people of the region to expose this corruption at a much higher level than is being done on this publications platform.

It's time to take on the big boys, especially if we suspect Zuma and his cronies in complicity. The new president should show he actually has balls and declare this process flawed and instigate a full investigation into the process, and protect the rights of the residents and environment first and foremost before allowing honest hardworking, clean living people to be crushed by poverty and corporate raiders like this evil bunch from Bongani. Time to stand up and be seen for what you stand for President Zuma, please make me a believer.
