To many Capetonians, the small vine-besieged dorp of Riebeek Kasteel is an ideal getaway. One look at the gently sloping valley, fynbos-covered hillsides, quaint church and the soporific locals is enough to entice them to stay awhile (the place has a half-decent restaurant or three, and you wont run out of vino).
