Quite a few of us worked really hard to try and change the nature of the South Afircan Auditing Beast, but to no avail. The new Companies Act does provide some relief for business owners, but the larger chunk of the economy will still be vested with members of the IRBA and their supporters. Gobodo is an auditing firm but they now created a forensics company in order to bypass the new Companies Act regulations regarding the limited work now to be performed by registered auditors. The government won't change anything about this industry as it suits them to have this dangerous dog all to itself.
