Pesky blogger shuts his trap

Donn Edwards’ sleepless nights are over. In a sealed settlement, Quality Vacation Club has agreed to spare the pesky blogger time in jail – on condition that he keeps his trap shut and his fingers off the keyboard whenever he suffers a desire to moan about the “timeshare bully”. That much we gather from his suddenly blank website and friendly silence.

... but other timeshare victims remain bitterly angry.

Some two years ago we were phoned by an agent here in Durban, notifying us that we had "won a prize." We went to the meeting, but we soon realised this was a scam, and so we announced we were leaving, much to the annoyance of the presenter (can't remember his name now). We still get the odd call, informing us "you have won a prize," but they are told in no uncertain terms that we are NOT interested...

Dear Editor â€œhellopeter.comâ€ and â€œmypetition.co.zaâ€. Are toothless dogs. â€œmypetitionâ€ has become a joke. See example just below. Plumber needed in Hoedspruit and surrounding areas 0 Telkom please supply my area with telephone lines 9 I once asked â€œhellopeterâ€ to put me in touch with a fellow sufferer and they gave me a long storyâ€¦. What is really needed is a website that will allow Joe public to exchange information about a specific complaint and enable them to initiate several class actions against the bullies.
