HONEY, WE JUST BOUGHT A NUCLEAR REACTORThe SA public is the new owner of the Pebble Bed Modular Reactor. It's a hitherto secret 'investment' necessitated by the fact that no private investors will touch the dubious project.

If you weren't concerned about Eskom’s multi-million rand foray into developing a new-style nuclear reactor, you should be – since you’ve officially joined the rest of the South African public in becoming the majority shareholder in the Pebble Bed Modular Reactor (PBMR) company – a position other international and private investors have politely declined to fill for almost a decade.
